I am trying to re-wire a old murray rear engine riding mower. It has a 8hp engine with a 32" deck and has a magneto. I got it real cheap and it will run but someone has been fooling around with the wiring and I would like to put in a new ignition switch and install a new solenoid. I don't feel comfortable with all the electrical tape and spliced wires.

My 1994 Ford Escort wont start. The battery is fine so I've been advised to check the starter, the solenoid or the ignition relay but I have no clue as to where to find the solenoid or the ignition relay. The car makes a very faint click sound when I turn the key but no other sound and just one click per turn.

I have a 2006 Mazda3 & the dealer says that the variable tumble solenoid valve is out. What does that part do?

I just need to know where the solenoid is, I don't know what it looks like or where its located. Car is a Dodge neon srt-4 2004. Also what is the solenoid?
